Lecture Presentation: Strategies for Piano Duo and Duet Performance
The 2016 American Matthay Piano Festival

Greg Anderson & Elizabeth Joy Roe engage in a conversation about the unique problems of rehearsal, ensemble, and performance as a two-piano and one-piano/four-hand team. Special attention will be devoted to issues of synchronization and balance, one-piano/four-hand physicality, creativity, effective transcription realization, and recital programming. Includes multiple demonstrations from Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring  and a Q&A session.
